Thank you for your interest in The Two Counties Trust and taking time to visit our website.
I am proud to be the Chief Executive of the Trust and delighted to be leading the change needed to become a high performing Multi Academy Trust. The Trust is made up of nine secondary academies educating students across the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire regions. I am passionate about serving our local communities by ensuring our students go on to have enhanced life choices after experiencing a Two Counties education.
I am excited about the journey we have ahead of us and the improvements we are working so hard to achieve. A key focus for us at the Two Counties is to continue to develop a compelling learning culture for all our students and ensure that we are planning and delivering a high-value curriculum. Our central education team are relentlessly working on these two strategic anchors.
The Trust is a genuinely values driven organisation. We are ambitious for our students, our families and for ourselves. I know that if we are to be successful, we must work as a team, this will enable us to have a healthy and efficient organisation. As a learning community it is important that we are always honest about successes and our relative next steps. Our shared values of ambition, teamwork and honesty are lived by our staff and students.
The central office is based at Ashfield School where a team of talented professionals support schools with business functions including HR, Finance, IT, Marketing and Communications, Procurement, Governance, Health and Safety and Estates. The various business functions are committed to ensuring that we are developing a healthy organisation where academy leaders can focus on teaching and learning.
Every member of staff and student has a legacy sentence, my legacy sentence is ‘he inspired me to inspire others’.
