Introduction

As a Trust, we have various employees participate in different apprenticeships to support their development and invest in their career development.  We actively advertise and prompt staff to consider engaging in training, as we know apprenticeships are not just for school leavers.  They provide fantastic professional development for new and existing staff members to develop their skills and qualifications.

Apprenticeships are available across a range of subject sector areas and at a variety of levels.  We have had employees on apprenticeships from level 2 to Masters Degrees. They are pretty much open to everyone as long as employees don’t have a qualification at the same level in the same subject sector. So they provide a route for staff to develop within the Subject Sector or move between different functions within our organisation.

We have a network of great providers delivering apprenticeships for us with some new providers in the pipeline.
