Literacy at The Two Counties Trust
At The Two Counties Trust, we recognise the impact reading can have on a student’s understanding of the world we share. That is why, in 2022, we made the biggest ever investment in our libraries with 7,000 new books for our students as part of our TTCT Reading Lists. Each book has been carefully selected to stretch and challenge our students, whilst exposing them to the world we all share. By the time our students leave one of our schools we hope they will have read all 50 books.
In 2023, we launched our TTCT Super Reader challenge. Our ambitious TTCT Super Reader challenge, rewards students who read all ten books from their year groups reading list. Successful TTCT Super Readers will be awarded with a coveted TTCT Super Reader pin badge and a certificate. Students will also feature on our TTCT ‘Hall of Fame’ where their ambition and commitment will be showcased to all.
