Suzanne joined The Two Counties Trust in September 2023 as Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour). In her role, Suzanne works closely with the Executive Headteacher (Pastoral) and Behaviour Leads in schools to develop systems and processes to improve behaviour. She also provides operational support to the leadership teams across Trust schools.
An experienced leader with over 10 years in senior leadership roles, Suzanne worked for a large Multi-Academy Trust in inner city Nottingham for 19 years before joining The Two Counties Trust. Suzanne is particularly passionate about working with disaffected students and finds this element of her work very rewarding.
A PE teacher by trade, Suzanne graduated from Derby University with an Honours Degree in Sports Studies before completing the Graduate Teacher Programme. She has held a number of leadership roles and has over 10 years’ experience as an exam moderator. She has also co-authored two academic textbooks.
Suzanne’s legacy sentence is ‘she led with values and integrity to help others realise their potential’.
