In an effort to continually support our Year 11 students during exam season. Teaching staff from across the entirety of The Two Counties Trust have banded together in one final push to see students towards success in their GCSE exams.
The Summer Masterclass Series is a collection of online seminars students can either attend virtually during the run-up to their exams, they can also view a recording of the session at their leisure as all recordings are uploaded the morning after the session.
Some examples of the masterclasses so far include:
- RE AQA Paper 1 (Beliefs, Teachings and Practices): This session will focus on the most powerful knowledge required for Paper 1 (Christianity focus, with elements of Islam and Buddhism), in addition to essential exam technique.
- History EDEXCEL Paper 1 (Exam Structure): This session will focus on Paper 1 exam technique. This includes interpreting exam questions and structuring answers to effectively demonstrate historical skills and knowledge.
- Computer Science OCR Paper 2 (Exam Technique and Algorithms): A session focusing on how to tackle the larger algorithm questions in Paper 2 to ensure that students can gain marks on every question.
All of the above sessions are available to Year 11 students via an email within their school inbox. All upcoming sessions can be found via the same link. There is no sign-up required, all students need to do is join the Microsoft Teams session or watch the session the morning after.
