The role:

Following the recent resignation of one of our long-standing colleagues, we are seeking a Trustee who can bring marketing, communications and Public Relations experience to our professional team of Board members.

Trust Board members are volunteers have an “eyes on, hands off” role which involves attending 4 Board meetings and 2 half day Challenge Days per year. You will need to be able to commit to attend these meetings, attend a relevant committee, and be willing act as a Link Trustee to one of our schools. Trust Board meetings are typically held at 4pm in Kirkby in Ashfield on a Thursday.

  • To develop a strategy for students needing an alternative pathway to ensure they have both tailored and high-quality provision which fully prepares them for their next stage in education, training or employment.
  • To ensure our Sixth Forms offer a high-value curriculum in an adult like environment and we exploit opportunities for students to benefit from different sites.
  • To launch a talent strategy which maximises our ability to recruit, develop and retain exceptional people.
  • To facilitate an efficient and coherent estates and site strategy to improve working and learning conditions.
