In a recent trip from Springwell Community College, students actively participated in the Staveley Eat Well Project. This initiative focuses on teaching vital life skills to local school children, emphasising the importance of cooking nutritious meals at home.
Our students had the privilege of engaging in cookery sessions hosted at Chesterfield College. Under the guidance of Level 3 students our young chefs immersed themselves in the culinary arts with enthusiasm. During the session students were supported to prepare a butternut squash soup, garnished with sage and croutons.
The students positive attitudes and enthusiastic engagement not only resulted in some tasty food but also embodied the ambition of us all TTCT. Thank you to Chesterfield College for hosting these engaging sessions and enhancing our students’ live choices.
