Students across our The Two Counties Trust have been exploring apprenticeships as part of National Apprenticeship Week. It’s been a busy week with students getting involved in a range of activities designed to help them understand their pathway options.
All students in Year 7 to Year 13 have taken part in dedicated Tutor-time activities, working through apprenticeship booklets and completing set tasks. Teachers have also embedded apprenticeships into lessons, using tailored resources and subject-specific videos to show real-world career opportunities.
Schools have also welcomed guest speakers from employers offering apprenticeships. At Ashfield School, students had the exciting opportunity to hear from Nottingham Forest and even see the Trophy won by the first team.
To ensure students can continue their research, our Virtual Careers Fair is accessible, offering information and resources that they can explore at any time.
Enhancing life choice is our vision at TTCT. That’s why we’re committed to providing students with the right guidance and opportunities to support them to make informed decisions about their future pathways. National Apprenticeship Week has been a fantastic opportunity to showcase the range of career options available and to support our students in taking their next step with confidence.
